MEDAL DESIGNS FOR THE 2017 DELAWARE RUNNING FESTIVAL RELEASED

Medal designs for the 2017 Discover Bank Delaware Marathon Running Festival as here!

The design includes many of the iconic elements that you will see out on the course during your run.  The bridge is the suspension bridge that participants run over in Brandywine Creek Park. The brick represents the bricks used in the wall and grounds around the Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park, the picturesque home to the start and finish lines and host of the Celebration Village and Saturday packet pick up. And we of course have the beautiful Wilmington skyline that will forever remind you of your special day each time you see it off in the distance.

In the final product, all of the details including the skyline, bridge, and brick will look like a 3-D photograph. This detail may not come through in the mock up, but rest assured, it will blow you away when you have it around your neck.

The marathon medal is the largest, measuring in at almost 4 inches, while the half-marathon medal is 3.25″ and the 5k and relay medals are 3 inches in size.

So it’s about that time!  You can begin to picture yourself crossing the finish line and earning this fabulous piece of BLING!

NOTE:  Kids Fun Run medals are not pictured but all participants will receive a custom medal as well.
