Expo Day

The Delaware RunFest Health & Fitness Expo will be held on Saturday, April 28 from 10am – 5pm, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Downtown Wilmington.

We are excited that this will allow us to host a more traditional “expo event” during packet pick-up of the 2018 Delaware Marathon Running Festival.  Gone are the days of sloshing through the mud and jumping from tent to tent at Tubman-Garrett Park to pick up your race materials.  Now, runners will be able to visit a single, indoor location to claim their race bib and race premium and also have a chance to visit some vendors who will offer their wares to help you prepare for or celebrate your race experience.

Plan on spending some time going through our great expo. Local and nationally known vendors will be on-hand selling products, giving out goodies, and offering special services.  These are the sponsors who help make this weekend possible!  Also plan to stop by our Delaware Running Festival Merchandise booth featuring exclusive apparel and souvenirs. And, if you haven’t yet registered, you can do so at the expo!

The DoubleTree is located within a 15-minute walk (0.6 miles) of the Start/Finish line at Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park.  During expo hours, street parking is free outside of the hotel, while the city also offers a nearby parking garage for a small fee.

Note:  We WILL NOT be offering the off-site pick up locations in 2018.  We will have a limited race morning packet pick-up.  You must pre-register HERE for the opportunity to pick up your packet on race morning.

Race Shirts will be distributed on Saturday during expo hours.   PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND!

What to Bring

You MUST BRING your e-registration card (E-Card) to Packet Pick-up to retrieve your race bib.  These will be emailed to the email address you used during registration on Monday, APRIL 23 by 3pm.   You will be able  print it out or have it available on your mobile device.

Relay Team Pick-Up

A Relay Member may pick up for their entire team with proper documentation. You will need to coordinate getting the E-Card & copy of their ID from the other runners. The race staff WILL NOT provide access to e-registration card information without an ID.  (Children do not need I.D.’s)

Race Day Pick-up

Limited race day bib pickup will be available from 5:30 – 6:15am.  This service is limited to the first 200 runners who register in advance for this convenience.  If you are interested in Sunday Bib Pick Up, please Register HERE now as space is limited.

Virtual Event Bag:  All runners will receive a digital Virtual Event Bag prior to attending the expo.  The Delaware Running Festival Virtual Event Bag is an interactive, digital “goodie bag” delivered to each runner via email or smart device. The bag features rich-media digital gifts, coupons, games, and more from local and national race sponsors.  It will contain race tips, and even ways to get free stuff at the expo.
