All Marathon & Half Marathon Runners Will Receive
We have designed with Christiana Care Health System and
New Balance Delaware a special (ash colored) technical shirt with a new
multi color logo to celebrate our 8th Anniversary in both men's and ladies
sizes. Crown Trophy has also
designed our finisher medals for the marathon runners and our half
marathoner runners. Finisher certificates will be available to all
marathon and half marathon runners upon request (prior year’s finisher
certificates are still available too!). Just
email us
and we’ll print one and mail it to you.
All Participants Will Receive
Each runner will receive a New Balance technical shirt
and a goody bag. The goodie bag will contain a Marathon Race Program and
sponsor donated materials. These goodie bags will also include from Aztec
Printing a "Memo from a Delaware Marathoner" memo pads and a DMRF window
labels. Michelob Ultra will also provide a Delaware Marathon pint glass to
each runner.
Other Items of Interest
New Balance
Delaware will be outside selling their “officially licensed” Delaware
Marathon items.
The race organizers will place roughly 200 personalized marathon runner
signs along Bancroft Parkway near Wawaset Park. Marathon runners are
encouraged to remove their sign from its holder and take it home as a
souvenir.
The News Journal will hopefully publish the results of the entire marathon
field on Monday, May 16, 2011. Alert your family, friends and co-workers
that your name, place, time, age, city and state may be in our local
newspaper. Complete results of the marathon, half marathon and relay
marathon will also be mailed to you over the Summer in a special insert
provided by Runner's Gazette.
Limited transportation from the official downtown race hotels to the race
will be made available to runners on a first-come, first-served basis.
Limited transportation from the event finish back to the official downtown
race hotels will also be made available. This service is provided by the
