Packet Pickup – Pre Race

Saturday’s Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up will be under the large hospitality tent located in the center of Tubman Garrett Riverfront Park, which is conveniently located just off Martin Luther King Boulevard (Exit 6 of Interstate I-95) behind the Wilmington Amtrak station on the Wilmington Riverfront.  Directions. Packet pickup will be open from 11:00 am until 5:30 pm on Saturday. There will be plenty of FREE parking just steps from the park on the surface lots at the Delaware Technical & Community College, or you may park in the Riverfront Market lot or in one of the nearby parking garages on MLK Boulevard.

On Saturday from 11:00 until 4:00, we will be holding a runner’s expo at the park. Come visit our sponsors and the many running related vendors who will be onsite selling race essentials and other items. Our 20109 Running Vendor roster included: New Balance Delaware, M.O.T. Running Company, Brandywine Cyclery, Synergy Chiropractic, Wellness Community Delaware, Team in Training, Running Funky Uniquely Colorful Active Wear, Always & Forever Running Quilt Designz, and Dr. Ashis Roy. We also had Too Many T’s and PPPF Africa collecting your used running shoes and t-shirts for charity. See Vendors for more information.

We cannot stress strongly enough how important it is for as many participants as possible to pick up their race packets on Saturday. The marathon starts very early on Sunday and there is only so much time for us to process 2000+ runners. With your authorization, you may send someone to packet pickup to pick up your race packet if you can’t make it on Saturday.

Relay Teams: one member of your relay team must pick up the race packets for all your team members. We will not disburse individual relay team member packets. The person picking up the relay team packets will receive an individual race packet, t shirt, swag bag, and race number for each member of their team. However, only one ChronoTrack D-Tag will be given to each team. The person completing the fourth relay leg segment will wear the race number with the tear off tag portion on it. This is how the race organizers know a team is on its fourth leg when on the course.

If you already claimed your race packet on Saturday, you need not check in at registration on the morning of the event.

Packet Pickup - Day of Event

Packet-pick up will re-open at 5:30 a.m. Please note the surface lots at the Riverfront Market will not be available for use. Free parking will be available in the parking lots/garage of Delaware Technical and Community College or outside Frawley Stadium, or you will need to use one of the nearby parking garages off MLK Boulevard.
