4 PERSON RELAY REGISTRATION

4 Person Relay Marathon
Brought to you by the Mid Atlantic Dairy Association
The 4 Person Relay Marathon consists
of four person teams with each team member running one equal distance loop
of 6.55 miles. Each relay team must first select a unique team name. Team
names, Team Categories, and the Individual Team Members will be posted on
the web site. Please note that only Corporate Teams may include their
business name in their team name. The Race Organizers reserve the right
to require a team to change its name or to move a team to a new award
category.
Four person relay marathon registrations are $160 if received or
postmarked by April 1, 2012. If the relay marathon field is not yet
filled, relay registrations received after April 1, 2012 will be accepted
at $200. Entry forms and payments received after the relay marathon
field is filled will be destroyed. NOTE: runners may complete two
non-consecutive legs of the relay and remain eligible for awards.
There are two ways to register for this event. You may print and mail our
PDF Entry form or you may register
online.
If registering by mail, relay team registrations must include all four
runner registration forms together with the combined entry fee of $160.
On each registration form, please indicate in which running position the
team member will be competing: (Runner #1, Runner #2, Runner #3, Runner
#4).
If registering on-line, the Relay Team
Captain may register their team, pay the combined team entry fee of $160,
and return later to complete the registration information for their team
members. Registering early is a great way to ensure your team gets in the
Delaware Relay Marathon field. When initially registering or returning
to
Raceit.com, please input your teammates in their running position
order as the
Raceit.com date/time stamp for the input will determine the running
order of the team.
Corporate relay team registrations are
$250, regardless of when they are received. Only Corporate teams may
have their business name in their team name. Corporate teams compete for
a special corporate category award which will be awarded to the business,
in addition to the individual relay category awards provided to the
individual team members.
Registrants will be able to confirm their registration by viewing the
2012 Participant Listings for their event. Registrations are posted to
the website roughly twice a month: on or about the 15th and on or about
the 30th of each month. As race day approaches, we will update the
participant listings more frequently.
NOTE: because of the numerous relay team registration changes and
additions that are received after the field closes each year, late
additions and replacements that need to be made after April 15, 2012 will
be subject to a $25 processing fee.

44 Relay Awards will be given in the
following eleven four person categories:
Male Open (combined average age
on race day under 40 years of age)
Female Open (combined average age on race day under 40 years of
age)
Coed Open (must include at least one female to qualify for award -
ages same as above)
Male Masters (combined average age on race day over 40 years of
age)
Female Masters (combined average age on race day over 40 years of
age)
Coed Masters (must include at least one female to qualify - ages
same as above)
Coed Seniors (must include at least one female to qualify - average
age 50+ years)
Family/Couples (may include extended family)
School (may include students and teachers)
Corporate Team (must include at least one female to qualify for
award)
Fundraising Team (teams submitted by our official charity partners)
Create Your Own Relay Team Category with as few as five (5) team
registrations. By submitting 5 or more teams, you may structure your teams
as you wish to create your own mini-competition. As a reward, each member
of the winning team in your own create your own relay category will
receive awards. Join Christiana Care, ASPA, PSEG, HSBC Bank, Conoco-Phillips,
and Joy-Hope who had more than five teams and created their own relay team
categories in 2011. Also, if you are thinking of forming a Create Your
Own Relay category, please let us know and we'll hold team spots for
you
