Pine Mountain Springs Water & 1-800-PACK-RAT Aid Stations
We are planning for 19 water stations on the marathon course, plus the START and FINISH. Each stop will be stocked with orange Gatorade and cool fresh Pine Mountain Spring Water. There will also be water and Gatorade in the Relay Transition area and in the Medical tent.
Thank you to 1-800-PACK-RAT who provides the portable storage containers that hold our water station supplies and to Pine Mountain Spring Water who provides the water, cups, containers, etc. We hope you consider using these sponsors for your personal needs.
After Lap 1 is complete, the Race Organizers will place a “snack/junk food” table at the Mile 14/16 water stop on the River Walk near the Joes Crab Shack and at the Mile 21 Water Stop on Bancroft Parkway. This tables will have ice, candy, cookies, salty snacks, ibuprofen, fruit slices, and any left-over GU gel packs.
If you need assistance while on the course, please contact a volunteer at any of the aid stations. Water station captains on the course have the ability to contact emergency medical services personnel to request assistance by closed circuit radio.
